We are proud to welcome John Gaeta to the jury of James Drake Media AI Movie Awards London 2026.

Academy Award-winning creator, designer and inventor, John is best known for his groundbreaking work on The Matrix trilogy, where he helped redefine the language of cinematic visual effects through innovations such as Bullet Time.

Across his career, he has continued to explore the future of storytelling through immersive, interactive and intelligent entertainment — from Lucasfilm / Disney’s ILMxLAB and Magic Leap to Epic Games, Inworld AI and his latest venture, Escape.ai

We are honoured to have John Gaeta join the AIMA London jury as we bring together filmmakers, AI creators, studios, platforms and industry leaders in London.
